6 months!

It is hard to believe that our little buddy is already 6 months old!

Here are some fun facts:
- Weight 16lbs 9oz (35th%) and length 29cm (40th%)
- No problem scooting around everywhere.  Mostly does an army type crawl with his left arm and right leg doing the majority of the work.  Now he is starting to get up on his knees a lot more.
- Right now he is a teething mess!  Poor thing has FOUR teeth coming in on the top and THREE on the bottom.  Yes, that makes seven teeth total coming in for a total of 9 teeth.  He will have a full mouth of teeth here shortly and be ready for some steak.
- He is doing great with solid food.  When trying a new food, he doesn't really hesitate much at all and doesn't spit the food out.  His menu right now includes: rice and oatmeal cereal, plain yogurt, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, and avacados.  It is fun expanding his diet!
- He can stand holding on to something all on his own.
- He loves grabbing faces and hair right now.  His favorite is to play with my lips while he is nursing.  He is a multi-tasker.
- Even through his teething, he is a very happy kid.  Everywhere we go people comment on how happy he is.  He loves to flirt with everyone.
- He continues to be a great sleeper.  He takes three naps a day (sometimes four!) and sleeps about 10-11 hours at night.  Thank goodness for small miracles!
- He can sit up all on his own, however, this does not interest him much at all.  He quickly flops down on his belly.  And, when I say flop, it is more like falls and bangs his head on the floor.  Definitely need some work in the sit to lay transition.
- We have transitioned to bathing in the tub without his infant tub.  He was getting quite cramped in his tub, so he likes the freedom to move around the tub.  He enjoys laying on both his back and stomach and swimming all around.
- He continues to do wonderfully at day care.  They certainly do love him there too.  Pretty much everytime I am there they go on and on about what a happy baby he is.  And, frequently, we find him hanging out with the cook in the kitchen, the director in her office, etc.  He seems to be a pretty popular dude.
